Sorry … the Snow REALLY took us down.  We will be closed again this evening.  The good news is  — barring any more travel bans and 2 more feet of snow – we expect to be open tomorrow SUNDAY, normal time… 5pm-10:30pm (bar til 12am) and we will be open on Monday – books are open – make your reservation now for a rare Monday night at Hungry Mother also normal time… 5pm-10:30pm (bar til 12am).

Snow Snow Snow. You’re shutting us down – HM CLOSED FRIDAY!

All that talk of long standing traditions and staying open. . . Talk about a conspiracy – the government is DEFINITELY working against us.  First they made 18-36″ of snow come down.  Then they shut down the T.  Then the cab companies closed.  The world is working against us and we’re giving in to it.  Hungry Mother will be CLOSED tonight.  First time ever.  We will re-open 5pm tomorrow – Saturday … so hang in and watch a movie tonight – and come visit us tomorrow.  And Sunday.  And next Tuesday.  And Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday…………stay safe and warm . see you soon. xoxo .hm.

p.s. Sorry Pardis.

Snow. Snow. Snow. Come on In. We’ll Be Here.

This is a scene of the Blizzard of February 2011.  It demonstrates our long standing tradition of rallying our team and keeping Hungry Mother open as a respite during cold, dark Blizzardy conditions, even if it means we all sleep on the banquettes for three days straight.  Yes Yes Yes.  We will be open on Friday and Saturday.  Snowstorm and all.  So get those boots, snowshoes, snowmobiles, and sleds and come on over for some warm Hungry Mother food, drink and company.  Pardis is coming … so should you.
